Noosa Laguna Bay

Pater Taylor strokes the coastal quad through a tricky bar crossing with one metre waves, into Laguna Bay and onto Noosa Main Beach for coffee. Crew included a rower from Hobart who enjoyed the experience. The return row included surfing waves while crossing the bar, one of the must do coastal rowing experiences.

CRN welcomes visiting Brisbane rowers

CRN showcased coastal rowing to several members of the Brisbane-based Grammarians and Dragons rowing clubs on Saturday 2 April. The mixed club crews took two quads through some rolling swells across the Noosa bar and into stunning Laguna Bay. The two crews joined paddle boarders and lifesavers in surfing onto Noosa main beach before enjoying a well-earned coffee break at Sails. Catching the waves back over the bar was one of the main highlights of the day.
